Beef Ragu
Put this on in the morning and come home to a delicious slow cooked dinner.

Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 500 g chuck steak
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • 1 medium carrot cut into rounds
  • 1 celery stick diced
  • 1 clove garlic crushed
  • 2 anchovy fillets diced
  • 1 tbsp baby capers
  • 1 cube beef stock
  • 400g can crushed tomatoes
  • 50 g tomato paste

Instructions
  1. Heat oil in saucepan and cook steak in batches over medium-high heat until browned.
  2. Add all ingredients to slow cooker and stir.
  3. Cook in slow cooker for 8 hours. Serve over cooked penne pasta.
