We’re trying something different on the farm at the moment. We’ve bought 50 baby chicks of a meat breed of chicken to farm as pasture raised meat birds.

We’ll be processing them ourselves so will keep them for our own consumption but if we find it to be a viable experiment and can find a good local chicken processor we could have chicken on our product list in the future!

Would you pay a little extra for  locally grown, antibiotic, hormone and chemical free chicken meat?
